    We’re all about creating a relaxed, enjoyable experience for you here on Waiheke Island — these are the key things to know before you book:

    Bookings, Changes & Cancellations

    • Cancellations made more than 7 days of departure date will be refunded (minus any admin/payment fees).

    • Cancellations made within 7 days to 48 hours of departure date will be 50% refunded (minus any admin/payment fees).

    • Cancellations made within 48 hours of departure date & any no shows or late-comers on the day, will not receive a refund.

    • Special conditions apply to all Group Bookings cancellations. Should the number of attendees in a group change, you will be liable to pay for the confirmed amount of people.

    • A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure Group Bookings (Tour buy out)

    • If WOW Tours need to cancel (for example - due to inclement weather or ferry cancellations), you’ll get a full refund (mins payment fees) or the option to reschedule.

    • Changes - Should you require to reschedule your booking, please advise us at least 48 hours ahead of your booked tour time.

    Age & Participation

    • You must be 18+ to join our tour. More information on this can be found HERE

    Conditions

    • Waiheke is a small island in the Hauraki Gulf & as such must be visited by ferry. It’s important you understand all the ferry options & services for Waiheke Island. This information is detailed HERE

    • Please note - It is imperative that guests adhere to the scheduled ferry & tour departure times. WOW Tours cannot provide refunds for missed tours & tastings. In the event that you missed the designated ferry or tour departure, we may be able to arrange pickup, however due to tour logistics this may not be possible. In this event we may arrange for a taxi for you to join us, this would be at your own expense.

    • If the weather is bad, don’t worry — we can still run the tour even if it’s raining. Our vehicles are equipped with umbrellas, and we can drop you close to each venue so your experience isn’t diminished.

    • The tour would only be cancelled in the event of severe weather, such as gale-force northerly winds, or if ferry services are cancelled or likely to be disrupted. If this happens, we will contact you promptly to offer the choice of rescheduling your tour or receiving a refund as per the guidelines above.

    • All tastings at our tour venues are included in your tour. There are two food offerings - gourmet shared plates, followed by a delicious lunch accompanied by a drink, allowing you to relax and fully enjoy our Waiheke Island experience.

    • Etiquette - As per NZ law, smoking, vaping or the consumption of alcohol is not permitted in our vehicle. Please note - intoxicated or rude passengers causing a disturbance will be requested to depart the vehicle & no refund will be provided.

    • Our tour partner venues operate under strict NZ legal obligations regarding the service of alcohol to intoxicated persons. If a venue declines service due to intoxication, no refund will be provided for the tour. Similarly, if we suspect heavy alcohol consumption prior to the tour, we reserve the right to refuse service without a refund (We will offer to return guests to the ferry or their accommodation).

    • Passengers who soil or damage our vehicle will be charged a cleaning fee of $100-$300. This will either be charged to your credit card or can be cash payment.

    • WOW Tours NZ will not be held responsible for any damage caused intentionally or otherwise to people, property or venues & the tour guest(s)/hirer(s) will be held liable to cover any additional costs incurred. The guest(s)/hirer(s) assume responsibility for any damage to our vehicle during the tour period.

    • WOW Tours NZ cannot accept responsibility for personal belongings left in our vehicle or any loss/damage due to theft or negligence. We will endeavour to get any left belongings returned to you, but cannot guarantee this.

    • All prices displayed for our tours are in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) & include Goods and Services Tax (GST).

    • To process & manage tour bookings & payments

However, no data transmission over the internet can be guaranteed as 100% secure, so while we strive to protect your information, we cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you send to us.
