• Waiheke is a small island in the Hauraki Gulf and as such must be reached by ferry from downtown Auckland.

    • There are two main ferry services running from the downtown Auckland Ferry Terminal.

      ISLAND DIRECT FERRY SERVICE

    • Island Direct is the locals choice of ferry service & the one that we advise you use.

    • We advise that you book Island Direct as soon as you make your tour booking with us. You can book your return Island Direct ferry HERE - Please book the 9:15am Auckland to Waiheke & the 4:20pm return Waiheke to Auckland.

    • On Island Direct you are guaranteed a seat & only need to arrive at their Pier 13 - 10 mins prior to departure time.

      FULLERS FERRY SERVICE

    • Should Island Direct be unavailable or you prefer to use Fullers, you can book Fullers tickets online HERE - there are also numerous machines at the Ferry Terminal.
Please be aware that Fullers operate on a first come first served basis & that arriving at least 60 minutes prior to your departure time is highly advised.

    • To meet our tour you need to be on the 9:00am Fullers departure from Auckland city.

    • In the peak season the Fullers queues can be very long so please give yourself plenty of time to board your vessel.

    • If you wanted to be more flexible on your ferry times or require further ferry advice, please reach out to us HERE

  • If you happen to miss the ferry, you need to contact us immediately via WhatsApp or call on +64212231865 - we will endeavour to get you picked up from the later ferry & then join the tour. If this is not possible due to the logistics of our tour, we may book you a taxi to bring you to meet the tour, this will be at your own expense.

Please note that no refund will be offered for any missed tour or tastings on the day.

  • Waiheke is a high tourist destination & booking sooner will not only guarantee you a seat on our tour but will help immensely in locking in the preferred ferry tickets for the day.

  • We, as locals, have proudly hand-picked our five tour venues/partners. Our whole ethos was to showcase what we believe is the WOW in Waiheke. We have partnered with Waiheke Distilling Co., Te Motu Estate, Jasper Ridge Estate, Three Seven Two & Allpress Olive Groves. It is our intent that our tour stays consistent however should any of our venues be unavailable on the day, we will ensure that any replacement venue visited on the island is of the highest quality & aligns with the ethos of WOW Tours.
